Bis(trichloromethyl)carbonate,BTC for short. The molecular formula of solid phosgene is C3Cl6O3 and the molecular weight is 296.75; solid phosgene is a white to quasi-white crystal with a phosgene odor; Melting point78-81℃, Boiling Point203 --206℃(partial decomposition); Insoluble in water, soluble in chlorobenzene, toluene, dichloromethane, chloroform and other organic solvents.
