Property: 
barium chloride bacl2.2h2o is White crystalline or granular powder. Taste a little bitter and salty. barium chloride bacl2.2h2o  has hygroscopic. In 100°C gesso lost, but absorb two gesso again when placed in wet air. barium chloride bacl2.2h2o is soluble in water easily, and is able to dissolve in methanol, not soluble in ethanol, ethyl acetate and acetone.
Specific Density: 3.86.
Melting Point: 963°C.
Refractive index: 1.635.
Toxic medium, LD50: 118 mg/kg (with no gesso plan).

Use: As a raw material for producing barium salts, such as barium, hydroxide, barium nitrate and barium carbonate etc. Widely used in papermaking, dyestuff, rubber, plastic, ceramics, iol refining and petro chemistry and so on. Also used to heat-treat the metals and remove sulphate in the salt water in chlorine-alkaki industry.

Storage and transportation: Keep dry and prevent damp.

Packing: Packed in 25kg, 50kg, 1000kg, plastic woven bag, or as per the buyer's requirement.
